A CORNERSTONE of PHILATELY........
Study Groups allow members to share information that touches in greater detail aspects of philately that are of a common interest. The OPS currently hosts three study groups: the United States Study Group (USSG) , the Canada Study Group (CSG) and Great Britain and Commonwealth Study Group (GBSG).
Study groups meet typically once a month, at the close of the general meeting. While the topics are highly varied, each group has elected/appointed a chairperson, and each operates to meet the needs of its respective study group members. Typical gatherings last 30-45 minutes and most often consist of a short show-and-tell, question-and-answer, and general discussion on a topic presented by one of its members or guests.
